The Role That Keeps SpaceCraft Moving

by Karen Costa, July 2026

At SpaceCraft, every project is a journey — from the first conversation with a client, through design and manufacturing, right through to installation in their home.

While our designers and cabinet makers are often the faces people associate with our projects, there’s an entire team behind the scenes helping bring each space to life.

Our dispatch and delivery role is a key part of that journey.

While delivering cabinetry is an important part of the role, this position is about so much more than driving a truck.
Working out of our workshop located in Strathalbyn, this is a varied, hands-on role that combines workshop support, deliveries, site assistance, and teamwork across our entire production and installation process.
One day might involve preparing cabinetry for delivery, helping organise materials, or assisting the workshop team. The next could see you heading out to site, supporting our install team, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly as the project comes together.

It’s a role where no two days are the same.

At SpaceCraft, we believe great projects are created through collaboration.

Our dispatch and delivery team plays an important role in creating a seamless client experience—carefully transporting our joinery, helping projects progress smoothly, and supporting our installers as each space comes together.
Being involved from the workshop through to site means you’ll see the impact of your work firsthand—from preparing carefully crafted joinery for delivery, through to watching it become a finished space within our clients’ homes. This role will suit someone who enjoys being active, working with their hands, and being part of a close-knit team.

You might be someone with experience in cabinet making, construction, manufacturing, deliveries, or a similar hands-on environment — or someone who simply enjoys practical work, learning new skills, and taking pride in doing things properly.

The right person will be organised, reliable, comfortable working independently, and happy to jump in wherever needed.

Because at SpaceCraft, everyone contributes to the result.

Our joinery is designed, crafted, and made locally in our Strathalbyn workshop before being installed throughout the Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide metropolitan area. Every project that leaves our facility represents hours of thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship, and attention to detail — with our dispatch and delivery team playing a vital role in ensuring each project arrives safely and is ready for its next chapter.

This isn’t just a driving role.

It’s a role for someone who wants to be part of a team, be involved in the process, and help bring beautifully crafted spaces to life.
