We’re Hiring: Studio Administrator – Full Time (with Family-Friendly Flexibility)

Space Craft Joinery is growing — and we’re looking for an organised, detail-driven Studio Administrator to keep our busy, creative studio running smoothly.

About the Role

This full-time position sits right at the heart of our business. You’ll support our leadership, design, and production teams across a wide range of admin functions, including:

  • Project administration: preparing monthly cash-flow forecasting (CFF) reports, generating invoices, managing receipts, contracts, and job folders.
  • Payroll & leave: approving Tanda timesheets, processing payroll and reimbursements, and keeping super and leave records accurate.
  • Team support & housekeeping: greeting clients, answering phones, serving coffees, maintaining the studio and meeting spaces, and helping coordinate Toolbox Talks, team lunches, and celebrations.
  • Accounts payable & expenses: entering invoices in Xero, matching POs, reconciling company Mastercard expenses, and chasing receipts where needed.
  • Marketing support: preparing our internal Crew News, packing client gift bags, organising awards entries, uniform stock-takes, and light content support such as team and studio photography.

About You

You’re organised, steady, and reliable — the kind of person who gets a real buzz from ticking things off accurately and on time. You’re also warm, approachable, and confident managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Great communication skills and follow-through.
  • Comfortable being the first point of contact for clients.
  • Experience with Xero is a big plus (or a willingness to learn).

The role is full-time (five days per week), but we understand life is a juggle — so for the right candidate, family-friendly hours (later start after school drop-off and early finish) can absolutely be discussed.
