Let’s start with the Living Room. Previously a little cold and soulless, it’s now our client’s favourite place to retreat after dinner—warm, welcoming, and made for sinking in. The fireplace surround is a standout: custom-built to match the exact width of the bold CDK “Verde Oceania Marble” slab, it’s a made-to-measure moment where stone and timber sing in harmony. Add in a plush green corduroy couch, and the whole room leans into laid-back luxury with a palette that subtly nods to the home’s original stained glass windows.

Behind the couch, a custom Blackwood bookcase brings in texture, function, and a whole lot of warmth—housing a collection of books, CDs and family treasures that finally feel right at home. It’s a space that feels as good as it looks.

Meanwhile, the Pool Room has become the go-to hangout zone—especially for the kids of the house and their mates. With the tunes cranking and the pool table ready for action, it’s all fun and games on the surface—but there’s some serious smarts behind the scenes. A dedicated spot for pool cues? Check. Wine storage (that our clients admit gets emptied faster than it’s filled)? Sorted. And perhaps most importantly, a place to stash the ironing pile—once a constant eyesore, now neatly hidden out of sight.
