Last Saturday night, the city was buzzing—not just with footy, but some of the Spacecrafter’s headed to EOS Skycity in Adelaide for the KBDi Awards Night. With the spotlight on South Australia this year, it was extra special to celebrate on home turf.
For some of our team, it was their very first time experiencing the buzz of the KBDi Design Awards—an evening filled with incredible design, inspiration, and a few butterflies as we waited to see how our ten entries would fare.
And fare well they did! We were beyond thrilled to walk away with two wins on the night:
– KBDi Kitchens Plus – Nastassia & Shawn’s Pastel Pop Kitchen (SA), brought to life by Sarah Katsaros.
– KBDi Design Spaces | Residential – The Tack Room, a project where practicality met refined design in the most unexpected way.
The judges shared glowing words about The Tack Room, saying:
“The judges commended this polished reinterpretation of a traditionally utilitarian space. Balancing equestrian practicality with thoughtful design, the dual-purpose tack room and kitchenette showcases bespoke joinery, durable materials, and seamlessly integrated detailing. Reinforced saddle racks, a curved standing bar, and textured finishes reflect both lifestyle and location, while smart spatial planning guarantees daily usability and guest comfort. This is a hardworking, carefully crafted space that honours the estate’s heritage while embracing the family’s modern vision.”
It was one of those nights that reminded us why we do what we do—celebrating not just the wins, but the people, the projects, and the passion that drive SpaceCraft forward.
Because at the end of the day, the saying really is true: teamwork makes the dream work.
